Doutrinadores há que entendem que o correto é escrever “julgar (im)procedente o pedido” (Humberto Theodoro Júnior; Theotônio Negrão).
Para eles, o juiz acolhe ou rejeita o pedido, o que, tecnicamente, exterioriza-se pela sua procedência ou improcedência.

Essa diferença, todavia, é tão sutil, que muitos não a fazem (Fredie Didie Jr., Alexandre Freitas Câmara, Luiz Guilherme Marinoni), de sorte que seria muito preciosismo entender que alguma das formas apresentadas no post está errada.
Ao contrário:
Todas elas podem ser tranquilamente empregadas.
O Código de Processo Civil, a propósito, ora traz “julgar (im)procedente o pedido”, ora “acolher o pedido”/ “rejeitar o pedido”, dando o legislador a entender que ambas as formas são sinônimas e estão certas.
Os termos “acolher”/ “acolhimento” ou “rejeitar”/ “rejeição” aparecem, por exemplo, nos arts. 487, I, 490, 508 e 681.
Já “julgar (im)procedente” e variações aparecem nos arts. 128, parágrafo único, 309, III, 332, caput e § 1º, entre outros.
Então não restam dúvidas:
é tão correto escrever “julgar (im)procedente o pedido” quanto “acolher o pedido”/ “rejeitar o pedido”.
Para terminar, apesar de ser um alerta já um tanto quanto batido, não custa lembrar: está errado dizer procedência ou improcedência da AÇÃO.
O que pode ser procedente ou improcedente é apenas o PEDIDO.
